5 Environment Organisations To Follow In 2022 (Part 1)

We want to see a stronger, more collaborative environmental movement in 2022. And because we always try our best to bring about the changes we want to see in this world, we’ve reviewed 5 of our favourite environmental organisations on Instagram.

@earthrise.studios : beautiful designs that amplify the voices of those most affected by the climate crisis.

earthrise is a digital platform and creative studio. They use design, film, and storytelling to communicate the climate crisis.

@theslowfactory : thought-provoking content about the systemic root causes of environmental issues.

Slow Factory is an open education institute, independent research lab, and a regenerative design incubator.

@intersectionalenvironmentalist : important work dismantling patriarchal, racist, colonial and sexist approaches to environmentalism.

Intersectional Environmentalist (IE) is a climate justice community and resource hub centering BIPOC and historically under-amplified voices in the environmental space. They curate accessible educational resources + experiences while serving as an incubator to spark ideas, promote collaboration + connect their community with grassroots environmental justice efforts.

@futureearth : mixture of good news, inspirational quotes and deep dive educational content. Served with short & sweet captions, and a lot of colour.

Future Earth is a community and online platform that seeks to inspire meaningful engagement with the climate crisis through education on social media.

@aimhilive : range of climate educational content, plus useful stuff that helps you work out how to become an activist.

AimHi Earth is the education-to-action organisation activating, inspiring and empowering changemakers around the world.

They're building and cultivating a community of nature-first thinkers to build the future we all deserve.

Part II will come out next month. Do you follow any of these wonderful orgs already? Who’s your favourite?
